National Native American Heritage Month celebrates the traditions, languages and stories of Native American, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian, and affiliated Island communities to ensure their rich histories and contributions continue to thrive with each passing generation.

Cobb County Public Library has compiled a booklist for all ages celebrating National Native American Heritage Month.  

Congratulations to Ms. Kenzie Winther on winning the Birney Butler Outstanding Educator award! Not only did she win the award for the East Cobb County PTA council, which includes 36 schools, she also won the award for our PTA District. Our district has 179 schools and spans Cobb County, Douglas County, Paulding County and Marietta City Schools!
