February is Black History Month! Cobb County Library has compiled a booklist for all ages to help celebrate the importance of black history and of the contributions of African Americans to our history and culture.

Come celebrate with us on February 27 from 6:15pm - 8:15pm at Davis Elementary!

We'll have free international food samples, international food trucks (to purchase full meals), songs, dances and even a free henna tattoo station (save time and fill out the permission form now). Learn about the many cultures that make up our wonderful school!

Congratulations to Ms. Kenzie Winther on winning the Birney Butler Outstanding Educator award! Not only did she win the award for the East Cobb County PTA council, which includes 36 schools, she also won the award for our PTA District. Our district has 179 schools and spans Cobb County, Douglas County, Paulding County and Marietta City Schools!
